29.03.2012 Kompost-Aktion
In diesem Jahr bewirtschaften wir unseren Selbstversorgungs-Acker erstmals gemeinsam mit Freunden aus Papendorf und Pulow: Community Gardening! Jeweils zwei Menschen aus dem Kreis werden jede Woche die Patenschaft für den Acker übernehmen. Zu größeren Aktionen verabreden sich alle gemeinsam. Ein erster solcher »Subotnik« hat schon stattgefunden, alle haben Kompost auf den Acker gefahren. Dieses Jahr soll er uns vor allem mit Wurzelgemüse, Zwiebeln und Kürbissen versorgen.
Right in the middle of the village Klein Jasedow there is a strip of land which we use as a field to grow vegetables for self-supply. This year we pracise community gardening not ony with our big family but together with friends from two neighbouring villages. Every week two of us will be in charge to look after the crops. For labour intensive jobs the whole group will join. Our first joint action was to transport compost on the field before ploughing. This year we will be growing root vegetables, onions and pumpkins and courgette.
13.03.2012 Stormbirds
Am 3. März gab es das traditionelle jährliche Konzert der Stormbirds im Klanghaus mit »Pirate Blues«. Bob Beeman, Sänger, und Tilmann Holsten, Saxophonist, leben beide in Klein Jasedow. Als Stormbirds spielen sie zusammen mit Victor Schiel (Slide Guitar), Bert Schiel (Drums) und Christian Tech (Bass). Die Band ist bei einem völlig entspannten, groovigen, transparent-schillernden und kraftvollen Sound angekommen, das Konzert im Klanghaus war eines ihrer besten bisher. Fans aller Alterstufen kamen aus allen Winkeln des Lassaner Winkels und seines Umkreises (der bis Greifswald reicht) und badeten in der Musik, in der schon die Vorfreude auf einen Sommer auf glitzernden Wellen mitschwang. Tilmann ist Skipper der Ernestine, Bob sein Bootsmann. Und irgendwie ist die Ernestine ein Piratenschiff ...
Every year the Bluesband »Stormbirds« plays a concert in the Klanghaus. Singer-songwriter Bob Beeman and saxophone player Tilmann Holsten belong to the crew of Klein Jasedow. Together with friends from Greifswald and Berlin they form the Stormbirds playing »Pirate Blues«. The concert on March 3rd was one of their best so far—indeed they have found their true sound by now, very relaxed, groovy, very lifely, humorous, melancholic, transparent and powerful at the same time. Fans of all ages came and bathed in the music which already evoked feelings of summertime when the Batic Sea will dazzle in warm sunlight. Tilmann is the skipper of our sailing boat Ernestine and Bob is his boatman. And somehow, Ernestine is a pirate's ship ...

01.01.2012 Prost Neujahr!
Allen Freundinnen und Freunden wünschen wir ein wunderschönes, fruchtbares und erfüllendes Jahr 2012 und viel Kraft für alle kommenden Herausforderungen! Wir haben das neue Jahr gestern unterm Sternenhimmel am Feuer begrüßt. Aber davon gibt es leider keine Fotos. Stattdessen ein paar Höhepunkte aus dem Jahr 2011: Die Sternfahrt zur Anti-Atom-Demo nach Lubmin, die Abschlussfeier des zweiten Studiengangs Musiktherapie im Klanghaus, die (fast) fertig überholte "Stine", das fulminante Konzert des Atos-Trios, die fertigen Außenanlagen des Mehrgenerationenhauses und natürlich Oma Elses 90. und Sarahs 14. Geburtstag am 20. November. Wir freuen uns sehr auf das neue Jahr, das für alle vier Generationen der Klein Jasedower Großfamilie hoffentlich viel Schönes bringen wird. Und wir freuen uns auch sehr darauf, viele unserer Freundinnen und Freunde im neuen Jahr wiederzusehen!

We wish you a happy, fruitful and fulfilling New Year 2012 and much power for all the challenges lying before you and us all.Yesterday, we celebrated New Year’s eve sitting round the fire under a starry heaven, but we didn't take pictures. So here are some highlights of 2011 instead: The rally to the anti-nuclear-demonstration in Lubmin, the graduation party of our second course of study in music therapy in the "Klanghaus", "Stine", the smaller of our boats with her almost fully restored hull, the brilliant concert of the Atos Trio, the grounds of the new multigenerational house, and not least grandma Else’s 90th and young Sarah’s 14th birthday on November 20th. We look forward to the New Year, and we hope it will bring to all of our four generations good fortune. And of course we look forward to meeting many of you during the course of the year here in Klein Jasedow again.
